1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (securely hashed). If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Vinyl Collection Data

We store information about the vinyl records you add to your collection, including titles, artists, condition, pricing, images, and any notes you provide.

Marketplace Credentials

When you connect your Discogs or eBay account, we securely store OAuth tokens required to interact with those platforms on your behalf. We do not store your Discogs or eBay passwords.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We retain only the Stripe customer ID and subscription status needed to manage your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the SellRecordsEasily service
  • Manage your vinyl collection and marketplace listings on Discogs and eBay
  • Process subscriptions and billing through Stripe
  • Communicate with you about your account, including service updates and support
  • Improve our product and user experience

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with Row Level Security (RLS) enabled. This means your data is isolated at the database level — only you can access your own records, connections, and listings.

Marketplace OAuth tokens are stored securely in your user record and are only used to perform actions you explicitly authorize (e.g., creating a listing on eBay or Discogs).

We use HTTPS for all data transmission and follow industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — View all your vinyl listings and account information directly within the app.
  • Delete your data — You can delete individual records or your entire account. Deleting your account removes all associated data from our systems.
  • Disconnect marketplaces — Revoke Discogs or eBay access at any time from your account settings. This removes stored OAuth tokens.
  • Export your data — Your collection data is available for export.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. PostHog may set analytics cookies to understand app usage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of SellRecordsEasily after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
